Manny - Kofa Senior 2009

Rico Suave ............... Manny + a suit + 98 degrees in Yuma = A+ in Jen's book for being such a sport! Manny was such a great guy - I love his ball cap ... even though it wasn't a Dbacks hat.

Philip senior shoot

Phillip is one of the most photogenic subjects I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He barely needed any instruction - he was just a natural! These were taken at Yuma's fabulous Adobe House (theadobehouse.com) - a huge thanks to Kim for allowing us the run of her beautiful property. Who knew that such a lush, tropical mecca existed in YUMA? Phillip has been accepted to Hawaii Pacific University where he will enroll for the Fall - his passion is Anthropology and he said he'd eventually like to pursue Forensic Anthroplogy .......... yeah, like on Bones! How cool is that?

Lawrence/Heather wedding 4/25/09

A huge thank you to Lawrence and Heather for allowing me to be a part of their very special day. I started at Heather's mom's house where she arrived after having her hair and makeup done by Hector. We snapped some shots of her at the house, then headed over to the church. Lawrence is retired Marine Corps so he wore his dress blues for the ceremony, then changed into his tux for the reception - he made a very dashing groom! Heather was an absolutely stunning bride - my favorite wedding accent color is red, so I had a lot of fun working with all the colors! Her bouquet was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. After the wedding I followed their limo over to MCAS where the reception was held in the Sonora Pueblo room. The hall was decorated stunningly, and the cake was gorgeous - even mom approved of the cake. My mom has made countless wedding cakes over the years, so she always has me send her photos of the weddings I shoot so she can scope out the cakes! My assistant Melissa and I stuck it out till nearly the end - even through YMCA and a few other choice dance tunes at 1 a.m.!
