Beautiful Brizza is turning 1!

Brizza's parents wanted to capture her first year photos outside in a more relaxed environment so we headed to Yuma's West Wetlands. We couldn't have asked for better weather either! The morning began with a slight rainfall, but cleared up by the time we arrived. Brizza is one of the most well behaved little ones I have ever had the pleasure of photographing! That adorable 2-tooth smile was so precious I wanted to put the camera down and go squeeze those cute cheeks! Thank you to the entire family for letting me play!

Congrats to new mom and dad!!!!!

I love it when I get to see a new life blossom for some of my favorite clients! I had the pleasure to work with Shelley and Mike last year when I did these engagement photos ...and they JUST welcomed a sweet baby boy into this world! I can't wait for them to come back to town so I can get some snapshots of those precious little fingers and toes!

Lori and Gary 25th anniversary session

Lori and Gary are renewing their vows for their 25th anniversary in May - they are having a Hawaiian themed ceremoy and wanted some phot0s.

Christel and Reid's wedding

2/5/10 was the big day for these two lovebirds! They had a private Justice of the Peace ceremony with closest friends and family present, then we headed out to the front lawn of the historic courthouse. The weather was gorgeous in Yuma (as opposed to the next day when it poured buckets!)

Randi and Jeff engagement

Randi and Jeff are getting married! They wanted some engagement photos at the hummingbird gardens inside Yuma's West Wetlands ... the spot where Jeff proposed!

February sessions

Renees girls and grandkids - she wanted a session before Jamie, the oldest moved to Virginia. We won't see her again until the summer when she'll have a brand new baby!

We recently had the great pleasure in having Jennifer take photos of our 2 children. With that said, our 11yr old son, does not like taking pictures, but Jennifer knew how to pull him out of his shell. As for our daughter, well she just loves being in front of the camera. As soon as Jennifer emailed me a sneak peak of their photos, I was speechless. AMAZING, is all I could say, and it just made us even more excited to see the rest of them. Within, a few days we had a disk of all of the pictures she had taken of the kids, with many options of each one of them. It was not long after we decided to have Jennifer take some family photos, which is a dreaded thing for me, because I hate most pictures of myself. Jennifer knew just how to position all of us, for them to look natural and not posed. We ended up with some of the BEST pictures that we have ever had taken.
Jennifer Blackwell is by far an AMAZING and TALENTED photographer, and I would recommend her to everyone out there. Our family will most definitely have Jennifer take many more pictures in the future for us.

On a recent trip home to see family, we planned on having our family pictures taken. With two young children, professional photos have usually turned out just mediocre at best. I am so thankful that we found Jennifer! For once I wasn't stressed out about someone not smiling or the baby having a meltdown. Jennifer just has a way about her that makes you comfortable! It felt like a member of our family was taking our pictures!

We received our photo CD and I was so excited to pop it in the computer and see how our pictures turned out. Amazing! These are the best photos that our family has ever taken. I wish she lived in Las Vegas so that we could have pictures taken more often... I'd probably have an appointment booked every day! This was my first opportunity to allow Jennifer to photograph a member of my family and I had to choose the hardest subject, my absolutely beautiful yet reluctant 16 year old. Jennifer was however a true professional, she pulled my daughter into the session having never met her before and in the end my daughter felt good about having the pictures. When we first saw them, she exclaimed; "I look so pretty, she did a great job, and it was fun"!
