Courtney can't really be graduating ... CAN SHE? Just yesterday she came over to my neighbors for a barbecue and she was 5. We got some fun shots on Main Street, and Courtney had scoped out local buildings and fell in love with Roosevelt School, which is now one of my fave spots!

Zinn family
The Zinn family was the lucky winner of a gift certificate for a family shoot from the Death By Chocolate fundraiser held in Yuma. I've known the family for years through common friends and business associates, but I had never met Ruth or Milton in person, so I was thrilled when they called to schedule their shoot. They are a very active family, so they chose the foothills of the mountains prior to sunset. The colors were spectacular with all of the desert flora in bloom. The Zinn family likes to hike a lot, so they picked this spot - and who knew you actually needed hiking boots to get there? Not the flip flop queen that is I! I managed ok, must be my tough upbringing in the desert, but I admire those guys who were running on the trail - it was 90% rock!
