Jennifer Blackwell Photography: Moon over my hammy?

How about moons over Yuma. I didn't get a very good shot of the total lunar eclipse last night because A) we get cheated on the west coast because the good lunar show goes to the east coasters, and B) it was cloudy on and off. I did, however, get some freakishly cool shot driving to work today - before you ask, no, I wasn't on the cell phone, driving AND taking photos! I did these at stop lights and intersections, hence the awesome quality! HA! BUT they are fun. The very first one is shot through a tree at the offramp exit to 16th street - kind of has a Halloween-ish feel! The others are a progression of photos as I got closer to work.

We recently had the great pleasure in having Jennifer take photos of our 2 children. With that said, our 11yr old son, does not like taking pictures, but Jennifer knew how to pull him out of his shell. As for our daughter, well she just loves being in front of the camera. As soon as Jennifer emailed me a sneak peak of their photos, I was speechless. AMAZING, is all I could say, and it just made us even more excited to see the rest of them. Within, a few days we had a disk of all of the pictures she had taken of the kids, with many options of each one of them. It was not long after we decided to have Jennifer take some family photos, which is a dreaded thing for me, because I hate most pictures of myself. Jennifer knew just how to position all of us, for them to look natural and not posed. We ended up with some of the BEST pictures that we have ever had taken.
Jennifer Blackwell is by far an AMAZING and TALENTED photographer, and I would recommend her to everyone out there. Our family will most definitely have Jennifer take many more pictures in the future for us.

On a recent trip home to see family, we planned on having our family pictures taken. With two young children, professional photos have usually turned out just mediocre at best. I am so thankful that we found Jennifer! For once I wasn't stressed out about someone not smiling or the baby having a meltdown. Jennifer just has a way about her that makes you comfortable! It felt like a member of our family was taking our pictures!

We received our photo CD and I was so excited to pop it in the computer and see how our pictures turned out. Amazing! These are the best photos that our family has ever taken. I wish she lived in Las Vegas so that we could have pictures taken more often... I'd probably have an appointment booked every day! This was my first opportunity to allow Jennifer to photograph a member of my family and I had to choose the hardest subject, my absolutely beautiful yet reluctant 16 year old. Jennifer was however a true professional, she pulled my daughter into the session having never met her before and in the end my daughter felt good about having the pictures. When we first saw them, she exclaimed; "I look so pretty, she did a great job, and it was fun"!
