Kiya and Luke prom 2009

Kiya planned for prom for months - and she let me in on the planning from the beginning! This was an absolutely awesome day to be a part of! First off, she was stunning - from the dress to the hair, and her impeccable makeup. From the first moment I met Kiya and her family for senior portraits in November, we've been friends. What I love about Kiya and her date, Luke, is that they let me take lots of creative liberties ... like "oh your dress won't get dirty, just lay down on the railroad tracks."-- that sort of liberty! It worked though and I got some shots they really love to remember their special date ... senior prom!
